Frequently Asked Questions

How can a child or family be referred to Children’s Fund for Services?

Children’s Fund works with case workers from multiple agencies within the County of San Bernardino as well as area community based organizations. Children’s Fund does not accept self-referrals. Please call us at 909.379.0000 for further information regarding our services.

How can I help Children’s Fund?

If you are an individual donor, the best way to support Children’s Fund is to not only support our programs through monetary donations and volunteering, but to tell your friends and colleagues about us.

Challenge your family, friends, co-workers to get involved, to make a difference to the children, who are our future.

How can I make a Special Donation?

You can make a gift of cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds or a bequest through your will. Throughout the year Children’s Fund also encounters special needs. For more information please contact 909.379.6036.

Can I donate goods, such as books, cars and food, instead of cash?

Like many charities, Children’s Fund is grateful to receive gifts of new unused goods. Offerings of specialty services are also needed for at-risk children such as orthodontia, eye exams, haircuts, dental care or other special services.

How do I volunteer?

Children’s Fund offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals, families or groups, ranging from a one-time experience to multiple commitments. These opportunities include office work and warehouse maintenance. Please call Andrea Crawford for more information at 909.379.6027 or click here to complete our volunteer registration form.
